Ruth Weber is a critically-acclaimed composer/conductor/performer. Her songs have been recorded in the U.S. and abroad. She has won the John Lennon Songwriting Competition, The Hollywood Music in Media Awards, the Jewish American Songwriting Competition, the Music City Song Festival, the the Global Peace Song Awards and the Shalshelet Music Festival. As a classical musician, Ruth has performed internationally as well as in the U.S. She has worked as accompanist/coach with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute, Opera Aguascalientes, CSUN, The San Fernando Valley Men’s Choir, and as a recording artist with the Marantz Pianocorder Division. She also worked as the Artistic Director for Jean Will Presents where she directed and produced opera concerts and classical music events.
Ruth has held the position of Artistic Director/Conductor of the award-winning San Diego Jewish Men’s Choir for the past 10 years. Their 2015 CD release, KOCHI, A Celebration of the History of the Jews in India, debuted at #3 on the Billboard World Music Charts and received two Global Music Award Medals, and the Akademia Music Award for Best World Beat Album. She led the group on two tours in 2018 and 2019.
In 2018. Ruth and her daughter Emilia formed the children’s educational music duo, Ruth and Emilia. Their albums, The Spaceship That Fell in My Backyard, and Kokowanda Bay have garnered numerous prestigious awards including the L.A. Music Critic’s Award, the Clouzine International Music Award, a Hollywood Music in Media Award, the NAPPA Award, Mom's Choice Gold Award and a Parent's Choice Award. The duo had West Coast tours in the summers of 2019 and 2020. The duo is presently nominated for Best Film for Sustainability in the Music Cities Film Festival 2021 for their song.

Ruth Weber received her Bachelor of Music degree from San Diego State University and her Master of Music degree from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She is a music instructor at Palomar College and San Diego Miramar College in the Southern California area and also maintains a private studio. She is a member of ASCAP and is a voting Grammy member.
